My Project

The AVID 8 class is full of students who not only care about their education and their future education, but they also are leaders on campus. They engage in classroom community activities and whole school community activities.

The clipboards and stickers are for a class community project.

Since AVID students present frequently (in class and throughout the school), learn from guest speakers, and go on college campus tours, they decorate individual clipboards. These are meant to show unity and individuality within the AVID program and community. They look professional and prepared.

The other materials are used for whole school community activities. The AVID students plan, promote, and host activities for the school that focuses on colleges and careers. During college week, they host a door decorating competition and a college poster fair. The butcher paper and paint markers helps with the door decorating and the advertisements. The posters are for the fair. All the other supplies are used during these activities as well.
