Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students in sixth through eighth grade need fine-point Sharpie Pens for the artwork that they will create this school year.

My students love using Sharpie markers in their projects to create bold outlines, and add emphasis, and when they learn about the artist Keith Haring, creating Graffiti Style drawings, Positive/Negative Design, Zentangles, Pointillism, and Stippling to name a few.

Our order of art supplies still has not arrived and we are hoping to have this project funded as soon as possible to utilize these materials during the first quarter of the school year. Not only will these supplies benefit the start of the year, but they will continue to be used throughout it.
