My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade, and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastic and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall, students are so eager to find out what we will be doing next and they love to stand and admire all the artwork that is on display.

My Project

These materials will allow the students to make some 3-dimensional sculptures using the model magic clay. The crayons and oil pastels will make the students’ artwork shine, shimmer, and pop!

Incorporating different types of crayons with glitter, neon, and metallic effects will take our artwork from ordinary to extraordinary.

Having the various media will allow for more student choice and give the students the opportunity to work with different types of media and in turn make their artwork more unique. The extra 3D filament will allow for a wider range of colors when students create and print their 3D projects.

When their projects are complete we will be able to laminate them to display in the hallways without having to worry about the cleaning products ruining them.
