My Students

My students are well-rounded children who have a passion for art and love to learn new techniques. They are middle school age and the classes are always striving for new ideas to create wonderful works of art.

Our school has 1,600 students.

An art teacher who tries her best to teach them art skills. As the art teacher,​ I try to create projects that will inspire every student who comes into my classroom.

My Project

These Makey Makey computer science kits will help my students learn coding in a fun new way. It will bring STEAM into the art room for when we do computer science week in school. Every year we do computer science coding in the art room for a week. This Makey Makey kit for each table to share will help the students learn a new and exciting new way to bring their coding to life. Exploring technology with art in different ways is something I always try to do every year. So when I found Makey Makey and saw how interesting and easy it is to do, I really wanted to teach it to my art students.
