This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Makey Makey devices allow all students to be inventors. This device can be used countless ways to allow students to explore 21st century skills in a very approachable way. Using a Makey Makey students could make a game controller out of play-dough or their own working guitar with cardboard. Students are able to use different programs with their Makey Makeys to learn to code with this device.

This project would give me enough devices to begin integrating computer science into science and math lessons right away.
