This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At TAPCO, our advanced technical theatre class is comprised of passionate high school students who excel in the behind-the-scenes magic of theatre. These students are committed to their craft and eager to learn advanced skills that will prepare them for professional opportunities in the creative arts.

Our primary goal is to provide students with the tools they need to excel in special effects makeup.

Access to special FX makeup supplies will significantly enhance our student's learning experience by providing them with hands-on experience with industry-standard makeup, learning techniques in prosthetics, aging, and special effects that are essential for professional theatre and film. The ability to create realistic and imaginative characters will add depth and authenticity to our performances, showcasing the full range of our students' talents. Exposure to a variety of makeup supplies will inspire students to innovate and experiment, pushing the boundaries of their artistic expression.

Our advanced technical theatre students are exceptional individuals who demonstrate innovation, dedication, and teamwork. Their passion for theatre is evident in their commitment to learning and their enthusiasm for every project. These students are not just preparing for school productions; they are building the foundation for future careers in the arts.
