Makerspace Student Community Projects

My Project

My 5th grade Makerspace students are passionate about positively impacting their school community through original art projects. Here is what they would like to do in their own words:

"We as 5th graders would like to make our school a better place." To do so we are doing community projects including making name signs for teachers, painting the radiator covers and creating sun catchers and canvas signs.

We would like to create name signs and canvas signs so it would be easier to recognize and find teachers' classrooms. We would also like to make sun catchers because they will bring a burst of colorful joy to each classroom.

Most of the radiators in our school have flat white covers on them, and we would like to take this opportunity to paint them. It would be awesome to be able to paint them to decorate our school more, and let classrooms have more designs.

We are hoping you would donate us some money to do these projects and improve our school! Thank you!
