My students are energetic and eager to learn. We are in a high poverty, rural area where high-tech opportunities are few and far between.
The world around us is ever-changing, and the need for them to keep up with that world is at an all time high.
Our students thrive in technology and learn through hands-on learning experiences: creating, tinkering, inventing, exploring, and discovering. These experiences will carry on with them through their adult lives as they learn useful skills.
My Project
My students need Makedo cardboard construction tools and LEGO accessories for Makerspace Mondays. These tools encourage a child's imagination and innovation during Makerspace Mondays. These tools will enable students to reuse and repurpose old cardboard. These tools, as well as LEGOs, will give makers of all ages safe and simple tools to bring their creations to life.
The flexible seating, Inflatable Balance Ball Chair With Stability Legs for School, will give students more control over their own learning.
By not using rows of desks or tables, students naturally foster collaborative learning and feel empowered to think about how they work best. Flexible seating gives students a choice in which kind of learning space works best for them.
