Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students have a variety of special needs that need to be challenged using a variety of media. They come from low socioeconomic homes where they do not have access to materials in order to complete projects or other homework tasks. Our school population is also so large that there is not enough media available for every class, making it difficult for students to get experience with the latest materials or technology available. These students do not know how to create multimedia projects using a variety of materials.

With cutting tools and rolling carts, students will be able to create a variety of multimedia based projects in our mobile Maker Space station that can create a safe learning environment that can be taken to different locations around the school that can showcase their talents and interest in a variety of climates.

These students will find enjoyment in being engaged in advanced technology that extends their learning opportunities in a new way.
