My Project

Please support my students as we embark on a marvelous, magical, makers journey! We will be creating our own imaginary worlds in a play-based, neuro-diversity affirming approach during therapy sessions.

We will be using the IDEAS Makers Curriculum to incorporate STEAM concepts into occupational therapy sessions while addressing their IEP goals such as fine motor skills, executive functioning skills, self-regulation, and collaboration with peers.

Craft and building supplies such as cardboard cutters, air dry paint, hot glue guns, paper, and many more will allow for my students to imagine rich worlds and then bring them to life using a multitude of materials. Will we be surrounded by mystical worlds full of dragons and fairies? Sweet and sticky candy lands? Realistic scenes of the environments we navigate daily? The only way we can create is with your help!
