My Students

It is so hard for a student to understand what you are talking about when they can't picture that thing in their heads! It might be because they have never been exposed to it!

This year I am teaching the struggling learners.

They are either approaching grade level or below grade level. Our school is a Title I school, and with all of the budget cuts we have endured it is hard to have adequate supplies for my students. They are all fun loving, full of life children with a passion to learn.

My Project

I was SO fortunate to have my first project funded by such generous donors! Unfortunately, the item I received (ELMO) did not come with the most important part, the projector. At this time I am unable to use the ELMO with my class until I have a projector to hook up to it. My students are all anxious to begin learning with the new technology. By using the ELMO with the projector I will be able to help my students 'picture' things in their mind. It will be easier and more fun for them to learn when we can all picture and work together as a class. The projector is needed to be able to use other technology in the classroom.

With this donation, my students will have a better learning experience.

They will be able to all see the same thing at the same time. It is very hard trying to show 27 students something on an old computer screen at the same time. I am so excited to begin giving my students the learning experience they need and deserve!
