In a small school, individualized learning is important so students can continue to work and progress in their learning even when they are at home or when a large number of their classmates are absent. Having the equipment they need to learn both in class and at home as needed is critical.
My Project
Headphones and other lab materials will allow my students to participate in self-directed learning opportunities, while still experiencing hands-on science.
Manipulatives are a key factor in helping students understand abstract concepts such as DNA and atoms.
These materials will allow students a chance to visualize the molecules that make up their bodies and the world around us.
Pencils and other supplies will allow them to have their own materials and not need to share them with classmates. They will also cut down on downtime while students try to find a pen or pencil.
