My students live in a small rural town. Many of my students come from low-income families. Some of my students live in household with second generation caregivers. My students value community and enjoy a sense of belonging in our classroom.
My students are energetic, creative learners that enjoy learning about the world around them.
They love asking questions and seeking answers. The eagerness to learn new information and the willingness to share their new knowledge is an amazing attribute that I am grateful to experience.
My Project
Brainpop is an interactive educational video platform. With many of my students learning in school, learning at home or participating in a hybrid home-school model Brainpop will make their school day "pop" no matter their location!
Brainpop's engaging and easily understood resources, videos, and activities will support my students with multi-subject content.
Whether my students are at home or in class they will be able to have access to the resources Brainpop has available. Brainpop is filled with advanced content that students enjoy as a challenge and BrainpopJr. is filled with content about everyday subjects. Brainpop is a great way to introduce a new concept or to reinforce content already taught in class.
The self guided quizzes and games are always a class favorite! With technology and paperless education making a giant leap into education Brainpop is a great tool to help my students connect with the content.
