My Project

Having adequate space in an early childhood setting can make for a productive day with my students. During the school day, the students have options of table activities, and we currently have small tables that don't really allow several students and the activities to be on the table at the same time.

My children love being able to do independent work at the tables, one student said he felt like a big boy like his brother!

The Lakeshore rectangular wood tables not only offer a beautiful neutral wood color, they offer the space that is needed to create independent table work and task boxes without having to improvise for spacing. The children can sit at the table with ease and have access to their materials right in their reach. This can help promote independence and confidence with my young students, especially the ones who will soon be leaving for Kindergarten and will be expected to sit at tables more often.
