This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A class library can significantly enhance learning for first and second grade students in several ways:

- Love for Reading: a well-curated class library with engaging and age-appropriate books can foster a love for reading, making it a lifelong habit.

- Literacy Development: access to a variety of books encourages reading practice, which is crucial fro developing literacy skills at an early age.

- Imagination and Creativity- Stories stimulate imagination and creativity, helping children develop their own ideas and problem-solving skills.

- Vocabulary Expansion- Exposure to different texts introduces children to new words and phrases, expanding their vocabulary and language comprehension.

Overall, a class library is a valuable resource that supports multiple facets of a young student's educational journey, laying a strong foundation for future academic success.
