My Project

My classroom of kindergarten learners are eager, curious, and love to explore with their whole bodies, especially during outdoor activities like recess and nature walks. I love to observe my students outside, because it allows me to find ways to include the outdoors with their learning.

I am so excited to see our students enjoying our Donors Choose funded school garden!

This garden started as a few small plants, and now it is transforming into an area that will be place for students and community to visit and harvest vegetables and see beautiful flowers blooming.

The next step in our garden is making it aesthetically pleasing for all to enjoy. The resources requested in this project will help us add fun garden decor, to our school garden.

I am requesting, Sungmor Plastic Edgings Garden Picket Fence - Grass Lawn Flowerbeds Plant Borders, one RELIANCER 12' Wooden Garden Pathway,Outdoor Roll, outdoor solar powered garden rocks, Solar Garden Lights - Upgraded Solar Sunflower Light, Solar outdoor Garden Lights, and solar butterfly lights.

This project is a "work in progress." We are very grateful to the Donors Choose community for making this garden a reality for our students. I am so excited to take learning outside of the classroom.
