My Project

Before my second graders begin their three week winter break, I want to send home a copy of their favorite read aloud, Dory Fantasmagory. They are truly engaged with this book. It is relatable and also captures their imaginations. We have all become attached to the main character, Dory who brings us smiles and giggles every time we read a chapter.

It's rewarding to witness the reading growth of second graders throughout the school year and I feel this particular book supports their reading development at this age.

It's also the best feeling when you discover a book that your students enjoy and can't get enough of!
