My Project

Teaching music is always difficult and expensive without the right resources; from gathering supplies, to finding funding, writing grants, and looking for reasonable repairs within a short amount of time. With students coming from low-income families, the best we can do is to provide them with instruments and supplies that they can take to and from the school building, so they can practice at home without having to share or rent from an outside source.

Teaching one hundred, beginning to intermediate, high school students in two separate classes, who are in need of appropriate materials to succeed in a band class, can be a challenge without the proper tools.

We can only do so much but to continue slowly building our third year program with some assistance. We are slightly shy to continue asking for help, but please consider supporting my students to get the resources they need in order to have the best music education that they deserve.
