This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Math Intervention teacher for grades 4-6 , I am constantly looking for ways to engage children who are struggling in math, and improve my knowledge of how to teach math using tools and games.

My students come from diverse backgrounds, most are classified English as A Second Language Learners.

These tools will help them access to math practice fluency using hands on and visual manipulatives and games.

As a teacher, it is important to always improve your practice. The books I requested will aid me in doing just that, in addition to assisting me in making the most appropriate use of the tools and games I have requested.
