My Project

Math can be intimidating for anyone, but especially for 1st graders who are just grasping the fundamentals. The materials I am requesting will make math fun, engaging, and seem easier than it actually is.

It is my goal for my 1st graders to leave my classroom believing that math is enjoyable.

Using paper and pencils has its place, but if overused, can take the joy out of learning math. I would like the materials requested so that students can have a hands-on experience for the majority of their practice, and be excited to participate every day.
