This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently moved into a new office without a whiteboard. This is necessary equipment in any classroom, but especially, in a special education/small group classroom.

I currently have paper on the wall and a small "sticker" whiteboard as an interim solution, however; this is not sustainable in the long-term.

My Special Education students need the security of knowing that they can erase mistakes/wrong answers to build their confidence. If a student knows that they can eradicate incorrect answers, they are more willing to try.

My goal is for all of my students to be willing to take a chance and, hopefully, achieve greater success.
