My Project

My Pre-K and Kindergarten students are busy and curious! They are so eager to learn new things and so proud when they do! A huge part of early childhood is to explore and see how things work and figure out why they don't. Being able to incorporate the many magnetic STEM kits we already have will provide meaningful, hands-on activities that help those lightbulbs come on quickly!

Replacing an archaic chalkboard that has several layers of paint with a magnetic dry-erase board would allow us to use our magnetic STEM kits for whole group, partner, and individual math and science lessons.

Our Marble Trek, Create a Path, and Geometric shapes will enhance problem-solving skills, and creativity and encourage critical analysis. They would able to place our Magna tiles on a vertical surface and that would open a big window into coding for my littles! I also have been blessed with several large magnetic math helps like ten frames, number bonds, and base ten blocks, and would love to be able to use those in whole group lessons!

I have wonderful tools at my disposal I just need a surface in which to use them!
