This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is comprised of both special education learners that are classified with a number of different abilities and general education students. They are eager to learn but come from low-income families who cannot otherwise afford to donate classroom supplies. We like to move around and regularly engage in station teaching and other small group activities. We like to be organized and have all our supplies readily accessible.

Having access to the necessary supplies will allow students to engage in reading, math and writing activities and strengthen their academic abilities in the first grade We want to make our learning space comfortable, organized, and a joy to learn and grow this school year.
