My students are happy, active learners. They are fun-loving fourth graders! These fourth graders are preparing for a world we cannot predict. The future is changing at lightning speed, and they have to have the reading skills to keep up!
My fourth graders have a passion for historical fiction!
They come to school excited to learn about history. They love to read stories that take them into the past. I want to keep their love for historical fiction going, and to do that we need engaging books!
My Project
Students love to pick a good book to read! Many of our school's historical fiction books are outdated and old. They are weathered and torn. It is time to get some new historical fiction books.
My fourth graders are passionate about World War II, and I want to keep that fire burning!
These historical fiction books are perfect to light their fire! They will dive into them and learn so much about World War II in the process. With these different titles, they will be able to pick the book that interests them the most. Students love to have choice when it comes to the book they read. I can't wait to see the excitement in their eyes!
