My Project

I feel it is important to provide a variety of means for my students to increase their proficiency in math. My goal is to pique their interest and keep students engaged in their learning. Practicing foundational skills in a fun way will also benefit them throughout their school years and prepare them for future learning.

Donations to this project will help my students in practicing division skills by using the Splash Division game.

Students will work with peers to answer division questions and division word problems. Using the Place Value Folder Game Library, students will also be able to explore place value skills such as comparing numbers and identifying the value of digits both independently and in small groups. The dry erase number lines will also be very beneficial in helping students develop problem-solving skills and visualizing numbers and their value.
