Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The after-school club, Lion Leaders is a group of students that spread kindness and positivity all year. Throughout the year we have hosted fundraisers for local community groups such as the fire department and brought them delicious treats as a "thank you." We meet weekly for students to create positive affirmations for students to take as they need!

Lion Leaders is a school club open to all students who want to spread positivity and a sense of belonging to the school and community.

We are in need of post-it notes, bulletin board decor, tape, and posters for the community projects we run throughout the year. We can refresh the Affirmation Station with new bulletin board borders, letters, and positive quotes. We can use the posters for when we host fundraisers and decorate them with the markers we've chosen.

With these materials, I know we will be able to continue spreading positivity, kindness, and acceptance in our school and in our community.
