This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The "Magnetic Play in PreK" project for our classroom will provide us with many colorful, engaging, educational and challenging puzzles for our Toys and Games Center. These magnetic wooden puzzle activity boards will make learning numbers and colors fun.

"Little hands, big milestones - boosting fine motor skills starts with playful learning." Fine motor skills are the movements we are able to make with the smaller muscles in our bodies.

These skills take time to develop, which is one of the reasons why it is vital to start working on these early on in a child's life.

The wooden magnetic puzzles in this project will provide puzzles with magnetic wands. Each puzzle has a different theme and cognitive skill. The puzzles have dinosaurs, trees, farms, towns, traffic scenes and matching games. The metal rack will help us store all our new puzzles in our Toys and Games Center.
