Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year science will be taught in the classroom, rather than by a cluster teacher. So, as we delve into the Next Generation Science Standards my students will be able to conduct experiments such as testing the strength of different kinds of magnets and weather phenomena like tornados. They will use the tools of the project to learn about and explain the concepts of magnetism and electricity.

Students learn by doing!

Conceptual understanding is paramount and the proven way to build any kind of conceptual understanding is using a practical approach of engaging all the senses. Through this project, students will get the hands-on experience that makes science fun!
