Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my students’ curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to explore new concepts. They are bright, imaginative, and always ready to dive into hands-on learning experiences. My students come from diverse backgrounds and possess unique talents, making our classroom a vibrant community of learners who support one another.

The resources I’m requesting for our magnet center will make a significant difference in their learning by providing them with tactile, interactive tools that bring STEM concepts to life.

The magnetic building blocks and kits will allow students to experiment with engineering and design, helping them develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The magnetic letters, numbers, and fractions sets will support literacy and math learning in a fun, engaging way, making abstract concepts more concrete and understandable. The social-emotional learning magnets will help students express their feelings and build emotional intelligence, an essential skill for their overall development.

My goals for this project are to create a dynamic learning environment where students can explore, create, and collaborate using the power of magnets. I want to inspire a love for STEM and creativity by giving students the tools they need to bring their ideas to life. This magnet center will also foster teamwork, as students will work together on building projects and problem-solving challenges.
