My Project

Play is the greatest tool for kids to learn. During play, students learn multiple skills including cognitive development through problem solving and critical thinking as well as social skills such as emotional regulation, communication, and creativity. They also develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. One way they do this is through building together.

One of the most popular areas in my classroom is the block area where students construct different things with different types of blocks.

Magnatiles are a great building block where students can make different structures or even road ways! I want to give my students a variety of magna tiles for my students to use their imagination and work together on building a tall tower or even an animal cage! I have really creative students this year who have used different blocks to create a zoo! It's been amazing to watch them create and work together in building. I know they would LOVE these jumbo magna tiles to build and create with!
