My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Even with the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things interesting and engaging in the classroom.

My goal is to reach my energetic students with real life learning experience through literature in creative and meaningful learning ways..

I constantly work towards creating an environment for my students to learn that they feel safe and secure in.

My Project

My reading room is in need of a new dry erase board. This dry erase board will be larger than the one I currently have and will allow student work to be displayed on the magnetic board. The one I have is in terrible shape and needs to be replaced.

I work in a small group setting and the magnetic dry erase board creates a learning space that is inviting and interactive for my students.

The dry erase board provides increased student engagement. Students love writing their work on dry erase boards. It allows for quick assessment of my students. I hope you will consider sponsoring this project. Thank you so much.
