My Project

Our school is called POD which means People of Diversity. Our students were from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The use of dry-erase boards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. When I break down the task, I let my students practice the same way I break down the skills. So dry erase board and my students are well-knitted when we do math. The dry erase board allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provides an easy place for them to show and share their work. As the new academic year is going to start, my new classroom doesn't have any wall space to hang any dry erase board. When I have this compact dry erase mobile board, it gives easy mobile access throughout my room and students can work on both sides of the board without interrupting the other group. By having this magnetic board, I can use manipulatives on the board during my instruction. Also, I can let students use this as a presentation tool with their chart paper. Learning becomes more engaging and less straining for my special needs students!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student learning, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement by targeting the focus and attention of our diverse learners.

This board will be a great asset in my class for my students. They will be able to maneuver the same way I modeled them during instruction.
