My Project

My students will be attending a science night soon.

While there, I want them to be able to create an art project using magnetism.

The kids' abstract art projects will be created by plopping a magnet in some paint, and then onto a piece of paper. The paper will be on top of a table and they will then use a magnet wand under the table to move the painted magnet around. The magic of magnetism will move the magnet around and around, leaving trails of paint in all sorts of wiggles.

Of course, after all that fun, we'll need buckets of wipes to clean hands, tables, floors, and magnet wands.
