My Students

My students are eager to learn and they come from various backgrounds. There are nineteen students in my classroom. Fourteen are learning English as a second language.

All of my students have a strong desire to succeed.

My students love to be actively engaged in their classroom. We are in Florida. This is a first grade classroom that emphasizes reading in English and Spanish in addition to learning mathematics. My students love to learn everyday, actively.

My Project

My students need to two laptops in order to succeed in school.

My students will use these laptops to do research in the areas of mathematics, science, and reading.

My students will be able to draft and publish their writing. They will be able to create and to have publishing celebrations. With the use of technology they can have better resources.

By having these two laptops students can focus on their reading and mathematical skills in order to increase student achievement. By having access to these laptops it will be so much easier for them to focus on the specific skills that they need.
