This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have a spark for learning and having fun! They come to school every day engaged and I'm excited to help them explore the world around them with rocking chairs and portable lap desks.

In kindergarten students love to move their bodies.

I want to provide them flexible seating so they can learn with movement and choices. The rocking chairs will provide movement and a sense of feeling safe. The lap desks give students choices of how they learn and helping them feel in charge of their learning. Giving my students choices allows them to be in charge of their learning!
