My Project

Join me in getting the school year started on the right foot. Helping our kindergarten students learn to read with sets of leveled scholastics books. These book sets will provide our students with an essential tool to set up their academic foundation for future success.

Schools across the nation are facing dramatic budget cuts.

Due to a hardship in funding and in being a Title I school that serves a large population of English language learners and students with disabilities, it has been difficult for families to have equal access to education and resources to help them reinforce positive habits at home. These books, with your help- are even more important now. We can actually send books home with our students with your support. As a result of the covid-19 pandemic and gaps in learning loss we have many challenges lined up before us. Our goal of sending home books will give our children access to practicing skills they need daily with their own families.

These books will serve our students as a powerful learning tool for years to come. You will be funding our wonderful Kindergarten students who are thrilled to start the new school year with books they can use to learn to read at school and at home.

They will be able share wonderful inspiring memories with one another. These books will be treated with love and care placed neatly in the classroom libraries where students have immediate access to these new titles.

The students will be able to pick their own titles as part of becoming independent learners as early as Kindergarten. These book baggies will provide students with opportunities to protect their books and read at home with their families. There is nothing more powerful than seeing our students excited about learning and exploring through.
