My Students

Have you ever tried to learn how to solve a math problem and been stuck on what to do? Having the proper tools to solve math problems makes solving them that much easier. Help us to get materials that will make learning math easier and much more fun.

My class is made up of 32 students.

My school is a Title I school and all of her students get free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students are English Language Learners. My class is eager to learn new things. They love to use tools to help them learn new things. When learning is hands on they are much more engaged and eager to learn.

My Project

We need tools such as protractors, compasses, and clocks to help us solve math problems. We also need to have large examples of these tools so we can try them out as a class on the board. Having these tools will allow for my class to measure angles, draw circles and practice telling time and finding elapsed time. We are also in need of supplies to help us make our own math games such as laminating pouches, index cards, folders and envelopes to keep them in. Dividers to organize our materials. This will allow us to practice our math skills in a fun way. By having clipboards we can solve math problems on the rug without having to worry about what to lean on. An electric pencil sharpener will keep us with nice sharp pencils to solve many math problems.

We love solving math problems and playing math games. These tools will help us to explore mathematics in a whole new way. Please help us become even better at math.
