My Students

Have you ever tried to do a math problem and had difficulty? Having materials to act the problem out can help.

My school is a title one school and all of the children get free lunch and breakfast.

My class is made up of mixed ability students. Many of the children in my class are English Language learners. They often speak other languages at home. We have over 40 languages spoken in our school. Math is a great challenge to my class and having hands on materials really helps for it to come alive.

My Project

These math materials will help inspire my class to develop a love of mathematics. Math is an essential skill needed to be successful in the the future. By developing basic math skills such as multiplication, division, use of money and fractions and percents my class will develop life long skills.

Please help me to provide better mathematical instruction by supplying us with the necessary materials.

These materials will make learning math fun and exciting for the children in my class this year and for years to come.
