Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our first grade integrated co-teaching (ICT) classroom is a fun and positive learning space where our students can learn and grow. Our students are eager to learn and love school! Students in our classroom learn in many ways. We teach our students using parallel teaching and team teaching. We also provide small group instruction.

To meet their academic and social needs, small groups are crucial.

The new school year is quickly approaching and I would like to implement school manipulatives that would motivate my students to excel in math. I have seen success with small group instruction and would love to include these math tools to further enhance our students learning through hands-on experiences. Being able to move, manipulate, and build things while learning allow students to build their learning experiences and engage them during instruction.
