My Students

How do we create an atmosphere where students love to learn? By making learning fun and providing students with oportunities to share what they have learned. I have taught fourth grade for the last 11 years and am eager to provide this year's students with the best materials and supplies available.

It is important to me that my students develop a love of writing.

Students would love to host a Magic School Bus Travels Through the Written Word night for their families and friends.

My Project

As part of this fun, carnival like night, students will display their journey through the writing process on tri-fold presentation boards. On one side, they will have their rough drafts. In the middle they will show examples of how they worked through the editing and revising phases. On the final side, they will present their final copy.

These boards will be in the cafeteria for all to see while videos of students reading their stories will be playing in the background.

The library will be set up as a garden of colorful language and the gymnasium will host games that walk students through the whole writing process. Help us get the supplies we need to make this night a success!
