Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a small school in the Bronx in the midst of starting a theater department and putting up our very first musical: Madagascar Jr. We have a strong group of 15 dedicated students who are hard at work memorizing lines and learning choreography.

Many things on this list are items that will help us put on a show that really pops with color and texture.

We are starting from scratch, meaning our costume and prop shop is nonexistent. Having these items will not only help us out this year but will also help us create an inventory to use as a starting point in future productions.
