it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items in this cart are thoughtfully chosen to help students celebrate and understand Lunar New Year in 2025. Each item provides a unique opportunity for students to engage with the holiday’s rich traditions and cultural significance. From traditional decorations that brighten the classroom with the festive spirit to educational materials that explain the history and symbolism of Lunar New Year, these resources will make the celebration inclusive and meaningful. In addition to the decorations, students will need to participate in rehearsals for the events. In order to ensure students have energy, there will also be snacks for the late practices. By incorporating these elements, students can learn about and appreciate this important holiday, fostering cross-cultural understanding and community within our classroom.
