Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Chinese New Year is coming! I am hoping to expose my students to the Lunar New Year.

What better way to continue teaching diversity within different cultures and traditions, then by learning through hands on art activities.

I love giving my students a passport window into other cultures and traditions.

I am hoping to help students at our school experience the authentic Chinese culture during the Chinese New Year! I am planning lots of fun activities including reading activities, hand on crafts, and even different types of food, for students to experience during the Chinese New Year. We are requesting paper, markers in order to make lanterns, decorations to emerge ourselves in the traditions. Thank you so much for supporting us and make it happen!
