My Project

Learning through creative art projects is a dynamic, multi-sensory approach to learning that can benefit all students, but is especially effective for those with special needs. Art can be an avenue for so many different important learning opportunities, including being an outlet for self expression/social & emotional learning, a pathway to make connections to other cultures, and excellent fine motor/sensory integration practice.

These supplies will help my students celebrate Lunar New Year through art making, giving them the opportunity to learn about a beautiful multicultural tradition.

With the materials included in this project, they will be able to make their own lanterns, which we will be able to display in our school for everyone in our school community to enjoy!
