Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at an AMAZING Title 1 school in Ridgewood. The kids are energetic and full of life and ready for adventures in learning. I am a special education teacher and these resources would help my co-teacher and I provide various learning spaces for all types of learners. These supplies would make our small groups equitable by allowing them hands on opportunities in Math small groups to use magnetic math manipulatives. The sensory items would help my students with ASD focus on a task while receiving sensory input. These items are small enough to move along with them throughout the classroom.
