My Students

My classroom is a dual language fourth grade class. My students have a profound love for the arts, sciences, and literature. My students have a huge interest in reading. They enjoy getting lost in a book’s plot and diving deep into the characters themselves. The even go as far as relating themselves to the characters!

My students enjoy working in groups and are very active in the classroom setting.

As a teacher, this sense of independence is amazing to see. I would like to do my part by making sure that they have nothing to worry about other than developing themselves academically, socially, and emotionally.

My Project

In the fourth grade there is a huge focus on developing literacy skills and expressing ideas verbally and in writing. This year, my goal is to establish a cozy, supportive, and material filled area that allows students to feel comfortable and prepared to share their thoughts and ideas.

With the aid of pillow cushions, paper, and binders the literacy center will be an area for both productivity and comfort allowing students to be themselves academically and socially.

I want for our classroom space to be a place for growth and development in every aspect of their academic career with your assistance we can make this possible!
