Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my Title 1 school, students face challenges that can make learning to read more difficult. Second-grade students love centers and being able to work independently.
The students in my class are in need of educational games to help with literacy.
The letter magnets and the decodable readers are grade-appropriate and teach a variety of reading and language-related skills. These materials will support my students who have language and learning disabilities and my ELL students. This will help increase and improve their skills in reading, writing, and language. Coming from a neighborhood where resources are very limited, these materials will help out our students tremendously.
