Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is a place where I want my students to feel good about themselves and feel safe. With many of the pressures put on schools we lose sight that these are seven and eight year olds. The games and activities will help them learn in an engaging and exciting way.

My school is in a very low income area with limited English.

Many of my students come to school as a place to come and experience their childhood. My classroom is a place where I want them to feel good about themselves and feel safe. With the games and art supplies I'm requesting, I hope to give my students an opportunity to practice their skills but in a fun and relaxing way. Each week I like to reward my students with fun activities that are purposeful. I like to thank you in advance for your donations to my class.

My Project

I'm requesting a one Landforms & Mapping Center, one Let's Learn Science, two Magnetic Dartboard and one Foam Number Dice. The materials that I'm requesting will give my students the visuals they will need to comprehend the different skills and content being taught. They will also be given a sense of pride and accomplishment when they are successful in the activities the materials contain. On a weekly basis my students will be given an opportunity to work on the different centers. This will create a safe and comfortable environment for my students. They will also be given and opportunity to apply what they have learned in less stressful way.

Working in Jamaica is a joy for me.

Getting the games and activities will assist me in allowing my students to be kids. They will have an opportunity to appreciate and learn to love school and learning.
