My Students

The students at our school are constantly working toward being stewards of our watershed, empowered decision makers, historians and conscientious community members. We are located in south-central Montana, just north of Yellowstone National Park. We are an active, artsy, outdoorsy and environmentally aware community. Being engaged with our "backyard" keeps us connected to our community.

Our daily goal is to explore learning through personal experience.

My Project

It's rare to find a sports obsessed 8 to 12 year old that also loves reading. Help the active body find reading that activates their mind. These titles will modernize our sports and recreation themed section. A lot of our sports titles are more than 10 years old - older than the student readers our library serves. Learners want to read about current sports figures and teams. Reading about athletic situations from their time period (and not their parents) will motive them to be the best version of themselves, physically and intellectually.
