Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Moving to fifth grade from first grade has created an amazing opportunity for me to inspire my students with a love of reading. My collection of books just needs a more age appropriate update.

I want every child that walks through my classroom door to find a book that inspires them to continue reading and continue asking questions.

Creating book clubs and a comfortable reading corner are all part of my plan. Bringing in many different types of books will help all students find something they can be passionate about and hopefully encourage them to never stop reading or learning.
